What we collect, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have.
This policy explains how Aktibeto ("we") handles personal information collected through this website. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@aktibeto.com.
What we collect
- When you send a form (contact, talk to an expert, request talent): the details you type in, the date, and which form you used.
- When you register for an event: your name, email address, organization (if you give it), how you heard about the event, and any accessibility or dietary needs you tell us about.
- When you become a member: your name, email address, chosen plan, and membership status. If you pay, Stripe sends us a payment reference and the outcome — never your card details.
- When you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address, the date you confirmed, and the wording you agreed to.
Why we use it
To reply to you, run the events you register for, provide your membership, send the newsletter you asked for, keep records required for accounting, and protect the site from spam and abuse. We don't sell your information and we don't share it with advertisers.
Services that help us
We use a small number of trusted providers, each of which processes data only to provide its service to us:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and our database, protects forms from spam (Turnstile), and provides privacy-friendly visitor statistics that don't use cookies.
- Stripe processes payments. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout page and never reach our servers.
- Resend delivers our emails (confirmations, receipts for your records, and the newsletter).
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces this site uses, which means your browser connects to Google to download them.
Newsletter
Signing up is always a separate choice — registering for an event or joining as a member never subscribes you automatically. Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and event registrations for as long as they're useful for the relationship and for up to three years afterwards, and financial records for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@aktibeto.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
